Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Data Deletion Policy

According to the Meta Platform rules for Facebook and Instagram apps, users have the right to request the deletion of their personal data and revoke application permissions at any time.

If you have connected your Facebook Page or Instagram Business/Creator account to Gwelix and wish to remove your account data, please follow the steps below.

Method 1: Revoke Access via Meta Settings (Instant)

You can revoke access and remove Gwelix immediately through your Facebook account:

1. Log in to your Facebook account.
2. Go to Facebook Settings & Privacy > Settings.
3. In the left sidebar, click Business Integrations or Apps and Websites.
4. Locate Gwelix (or your configured Postiz app name) in the active list.
5. Click Remove and confirm your selection.

Once removed, Gwelix will immediately lose all API access to your Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts.

Method 2: Request Complete Data Purge via Email

To request permanent deletion of all stored database records (including user profile mappings and historical scheduled post metadata):

1. Send an email from your registered email address to: lemmy@gwelix.site.
2. Set the subject line to: "Data Deletion Request - Gwelix".
3. Include your connected Facebook Page name or Instagram handle in the email body.
